NEWS

Construction on a new visitors center in Dinosaur National Monument will begin in March and could open as early as the summer of 2011.

The SUMMER of 2010

Thanksgiving - we'll be headed to Moab (Dead Horse Point) for a 4 day camping trip!

Sept. 25th - we're camping in Ophir, UT and attending a wedding in this old ghost town!

Sept. 18th - West desert camping is peaceful and relaxing.

Sept. 11th - We promised the kids a trip to Lagoon and it was actually cheaper to camp there, than to drive up and park for a day!

Labor Day was spent at the beautiful Strawberry Reservoir.

Aug. 14th - we celebrated Bob's birthday with a camping/golf trip at Wasatch Mountain State Park - it was gorgeous and we enjoyed seeing several moose that weekend.

July 30th - we met family in Fruita, CO for an awesome weekend exploring the area.

July 24th - Enjoyed a little fishing at Mill Hollow.

4th of July was spent in the amazing Goblin Valley!

June 18: We spent a nice weekend fishing and exploring East Canyon.

May 15th: A beautiful weekend of camping at Willard Bay! The kids enjoyed playing in the water. The weather was perfect for hiking and biking.

May 8th: We took the family camping at Antelope Island. The bugs are already there - I would advise waiting until summer to visit again. We did see 2 buffalo visiting a nearby campsite - very cool!
